As you will no doubt have seen from recent and ongoing media coverage, the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), is fast-moving and continually evolving.
Whilst we are adopting a ‘business as usual’ approach, we will continue to monitor and act upon official advice and guidance from government and Public Health England.
In the meantime, I wanted to provide an update on the steps we have taken to help keep our team healthy whilst minimising any potential disruption to the day-to-day working relationship with our clients and contacts:
- Business continuity plans have been reviewed and updated to ensure any impact on our day-to-day operations are minimised. The vast majority of our client-facing staff have the ability to work from home and our telephone system allows calls to be diverted to mobile phones where necessary.
- We regularly remind our team of the importance of referring to and acting upon official government advice relating to the virus, including preventative measures that should be taken to limit its spread
- Our HR policies and procedures have been updated to ensure that we are informed if any of the team are returning from travel to affected areas and/or develop symptoms – and that action is taken in line with NHS/Public Health England guidance.
Unless official government advice is received to the contrary, our offices will remain open for clients to meet with us. However, to help keep our colleagues healthy, we ask our clients and visitors to review and act upon the latest information and advice before attending:
For meetings or visits on our clients’ premises, for example to conduct an audit visit, we have developed additional guidance which can be obtained via your usual Rickard Luckin contact.
We are very proud to have a close and personal working relationship with our clients and business contacts, so are taking these steps to ensure we can continue to deliver our services whilst keeping us all healthy.
